We’re excited to introduce Emily Martindale as Raising Nebraska’s new Director of Experiences!
Emily joins our team with deep roots in Nebraska agriculture. She was raised in Brewster, Nebraska, as a seventh-generation cattle rancher — an experience that shaped both her passion for agriculture and her commitment to education.
A recent graduate of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, Emily earned her bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education (Leadership Option) with a minor in Childhood, Youth, and Family Studies. During her time at UNL, she served as a Peer Mentor for the Ag Futures Learning Community and represented Nebraska as a Nebraska FFA State Officer in 2021–2022. She also interned at Kimmel Orchard & Vineyard, gaining hands-on experience in agricultural business and outreach.
As Director of Experiences, Emily will lead the development of engaging, hands-on programming that helps visitors connect with Nebraska agriculture in meaningful ways. From interactive exhibits to educational events, she is passionate about creating experiences that spark curiosity and deepen understanding of where our food comes from.
“Growing up on a multi-generational cattle ranch shaped my passion for agriculture and education,” said Martindale. “I’m excited to help create new experiences and strengthen connections between visitors and Nebraska’s agricultural industry.” Outside of work, Emily enjoys traveling, baking, quilting, and attending concerts.
We invite you to explore our upcoming events and programs by visiting the Raising Nebraska events calendar.
