State Fair 2020 Schedule

August 28 – 5 pm to 7 pm

  • 5-7 pm  – Sorghum Cookies, provided by the Nebraska Grain Sorghum Board – Tasting Kitchen
  • 6 pm –  In the Kitchen with the Sorghum Army – Live Cooking Demo – Presentation Kitchen

August 29 – 8 am to 7 pm

  • 9 am to 3 pm – Sorghum Cookies, provided by the Nebraska Grain Sorghum Board – Tasting Kitchen
  • 10 am –  Culinary Challenge check-in, Group A
  • 10 am to Noon – Home Food Preservation, by Nebraska Extension
  • 10:30 am  – Culinary Challenge,  Group A
  • 1 pm  – Culinary Challenge Check-in, Group B
  • 1:30 pm – Culinary Challenge, Group B
  • 2 pm to 4 pm – Nebraska Sheep and Goat Producers Lamb and Goat Tasting – Live Cooking Demo –  Presentation Kitchen
  • 4 pm –  4-H FilmFest

August 30 – Closed to the Public for Fashion Show

August 31- 9 am to 6 pm

  • 10 am to 2 pm – Unlock Secrets of the Soil with the Natural Resources Conservation Service
  • 10-11 – Lindsey Higel, Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts Program at Central Community College in Hastings – Live Cooking Demo – Presentation Kitchen

September 1 – 8 am to 6 pm

10 am to 2 pm – Unlock Secrets of the Soil with the Natural Resources Conservation Service

September 2 – 8 am to 6 pm

September 3 – 8 am to 6 pm

September 4 – 11 am to 7 pm
