Spudlandia Board Game
A 10-round potato-based board game in which all players collaborate as a team to grow and harvest potatoes in order overcome challenges and save the people of Spudlandia!
The Story of Spudlandia
Welcome to Spudlandia, an island where the Spudites have cultivated a society based on their premier crop, the potato! They use potatoes not only for food, but for fuel, commerce, and a wide variety of practical uses.
When a violent storm wreaked havoc throughout the island, the Spudites were determined to rebuild. They call upon you, a task force of potato farmers, to help them reinvigorate their economy, prevent further disaster, and help your fellow Spudites restore Spudlandia so it can thrive for generations.
The Objective of Spudlandia
Spudlandia is a team game. Players are not competing against each other. Instead, they are collaborating as a team to ensure that they produce, harvest, and deliver enough potatoes to overcome any crises that may occur during any round. So, it’s important that the team talk through their options and work together.
The object of the game is to successfully complete all 10 rounds as a team.
Spudlandia was funded in part by the Nebraska Potato Development Committee.
