Raising Nebraska’s regular business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 pm. Staff is working during this temporary closure to help create best experiences possible. During construction, staff may be working off-site. We encourage you to visit us on social media (Facebook and/or X, formerly known as Twitter) for the latest updates on Raising Nebraska and agricultural news. If you do not have Facebook or Twitter, please view the Twitter section at the bottom of this page for any posts we make.
Upon reopening, there will be NO admission charge. We are a supported by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, the Nebraska 4-H Foundation, and our corporate and industry partners. If you would like to financially support the work that we do at Raising Nebraska, please contact the Nebraska 4-H Foundation or the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Foundation.
Raising Nebraska does charge a nominal fee for educational programs.
Raising Nebraska is located inside the Nebraska Building on the Nebraska State Fair Grounds at Fonner Park in Grand Island Nebraska.
Raising Nebraska is near the main gate of the Nebraska State Fairgrounds at the intersection of State Fair Boulevard & South Locust Street.
